The more I read about the Abbess, the more dedicated I became to her cause. She is the True Prophet, unlike those demon freaks who spout falsehoods and try to sway people toward the Beacons. How can people glowing be natural? How can people allow themselves to become so infatuated, so obsessed, that they burn away from God in favor of those impostors?

The Abbess isn't like them. She is the embodiment of strength and virtue in a world almost devoid of both. People don't need strength of body or character when they let their backbones atrophy, supported instead by those glowing stones.

I can only rest easy when I remember that Jon Saint-Pierre has a plan.
