I did not sleep. I just stayed up all night reading through all my old entries. I wanted so badly to condemn and forget Erica, but the truth isn't that simple. I can't ignore the all the good she did for the people of Bastion and for me personally. And when she told me her secret, I chose to keep it. The kids were right, there were lies and fear, but there were also honest mistakes. I suppose the difference doesn't matter; whatever hopes I had -- whatever Erica wanted doesn't matter anymore. All the kids have left.
